12일 부산 강서구에서 활동 중인 ‘행복한 급식자원봉사협회’가 매월 둘째주 금요일에 여는 관내 어르신들을 위한 ‘생신 초대합니다’ 행사가 맛있는 국수를 드시는 생신 어르신들을 모시고 열렸다.
‘행복한 급식자원봉사협회’를 운영하는 조연옥 대표는 ‘천원의 국수’를 매일 점심 시간에 관내 주민들에게 제공하는 국수 명인으로 유명하다.
외에 봉사활동을 강서구 관내에서 20여년간 해 왔는데 어려운 경기에도 꾸준히 좋은 일을 많이 해 오고 있다.
이날 ‘생신 초대합니다’ 행사는 관내 노인들을 위해 선의가 담긴 선물과 회원들이 모여 ‘장수와 건강’의 의미가 담긴 맛있는 국수를 대접하고 축하 공연을 해 드리면서 외로움과 건강을 위로해 드리고 있다.
